About Therapist

My name is Sarah Dalton, PhD, LPC, NCC, BC-TMH, ACS, CST (she/her/hers pronouns). I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider, a Board Certified Approved Clinical Supervisor, and an AASECT certified sex therapist. I earned my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and my master's degree in Community Counseling. I am based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and am currently accepting clients from Pennsylvania only.

Contemporary Connections was created when I saw a need for quality therapy for those experiencing sex-related issues and those within the LGBTQ+ community. While many clients feel comfortable attending face-to-face therapy and have access to qualified therapists, many do not. I created this practice as a way to provide LGBTQ+ competent and sex-positive counseling for any client, regardless of distance from my physical location.
